We're not always in on the joke and maybe that means we should just stay out of it. 

If you've ever had to explain a punchline or have a punchline explained to you, just know, you are not alone. In fact, there is an entire community of people on Reddit dedicated to dummies who "didn't get the joke." So the next time you feel like a fool, just know you aren't alone. 

These people clearly wanted to get their two cents and the joke went clear over their heads. Too bad they couldn't join in on the fun.
